Chris hale – Best Man

Groom's Side, Friend

I met Chris in high school, Pope John Paul II, where we competed in intramural sports like football and ball hockey.  While there wasn't a sport we didn't enjoy, golf was our true love.  Chris and I were very competitive on the links; he continually improved ahead of me and forced me to raise my game in order to stay competitive.  We spend countless weekends driving all over Ontario playing courses from Niagara to Brighten and all over the North.  We also planned multiple golf trips to destinations like Myrtle Beach . While we were bitter rivals on the course, we stayed best friends in life.

Jason Camacho and Ryan Camacho – Groomsmen

Groom's Side, Friends

Jason and Ryan were my next-door neighbors since I can remember.  They were, and still are, like the brothers I never had and always wanted.  We grew up together, from playing sports and video games to walking to elementary school together.  We were inseparable.  We played lots of different games growing up burbie, capture the flag, baseball at the tress, spud, tennis, american and kickball, to name a few.  Even though we are "all grown up" now, we still organize events that keep us close and in touch with each other regularly.  From Beast Softball or roller-hockey to golf and Niagara week-ends, to monthly poker games, or even just sitting around in the Camacho basement.

Nick Chen – Groomsmen

Groom's Side, Friend

If Jason and Ryan were like brothers to me, Mike and Nick were like my cousins.  Again, they were about the same age and lived on our street.  Mike and Nick always took part in the neighborhood games and were always there at birthday parties since I can remember.  Nick has always been a great friend to me and even though our lives took separate turns in regards to elementary, high school and university, we always picked up our friendship where it left off.  Nick is one of those friends who always remembers who he is, where he came from, and who his real friends are.

STEVE MELO – Groomsmen

Groom's Side, Friend and Future Brother-In-Law

Steve and my sister, Jen, have been going out for the past 5 years and in that time he seemed to keep coming around the house more and more often.  While others may have worn out their welcome, Steve's great sense of humor and energetic personality consistently brought a breath of fresh air to the household.  As a result I got to know Steve well, and it was obvious from the start that he was crazy about my sister.

Daryl Walsh – Groomsmen

Bride's Side, Friend and Future Brother-In-Law

As Darlene's big brother, Daryl has and always will look out for Darlene, who he still considers his "baby sister".  He has a beautiful wife, Peggy, and 2 young sons, Calvin and Ryan.  Even though Daryl works hard during the day, he always finds the time to be there for his family, be it soccer games or doctors appointments.  In the summer, he enjoys spending his weekends with his family at their trailer on Buckhorn Lake .  Daryl is a fun guy to be around and genuinely loves life.  He has been a role model for me and I'm honoured to be joining his family.

CALVIN and ryan Walsh – Ring Boys

Bride's Side, Bride and Groom's Godsons

Calvin and Ryan are the sons of Daryl and Peggy (Darlene's brother and sister-in-law).  Darlene and I were honoured to be asked to be their godparents a few years ago.  We love them very much and can't wait to see them in their suits!
