About the Bride...

While some couples have unique, funny stories about how improbable it was for them to meet and that fate must have intervened, Darlene and I met in high school, and somewhere between then and now, we fell in love.  Sound boring?  Well it definitely was not and I wouldn't change a thing in our relationship.

While Darlene and I are very compatible, we also have unique and different tastes.  This might cause challenges for some couples, but not for us - we have learned to compromise which means we often make better decisions together than we do apart.  And when it comes to important life decisions, we are always on the same page and in complete agreement. 

Darlene is a great person.  Not only is she smart and beautiful, but she has a great sense of humor.  Darlene loves to make people laugh and over the years she has caused side splitting laughter from those around her.  Darlene is a very generous, loving and loyal daughter, sister, aunt and soon to be wife.

 About the Groom...

Rob and I have been together for over eleven years now, and let me tell you, it was NOT love at first sight!!!   In high school, I thought Rob only cared about sports, pool, and his friends.  Lucky for him, I also thought he was cute, so we started dating anyways. Lucky for me, I found out he was a great guy...

During our years together, we have had some incredibly fun times together.  From watching movies to going skating and from camping trips to Europe trips!  Rob has a way of making everything fun and exciting, which means even trips to the grocery store can be fun!  Over the years, we've learned a lot about each other and about ourselves.  Even though we are different people with different interests and taste, I know that we bring out the best in each other.  

Rob is a great match for me - I am truly blessed to have found someone who completely understands and shares my values and goals for the future.  He is a dedicated, hard-working, down-to-earth guy who puts family and friends above all else.  I am looking forward to sharing the rest of my life with him.
